Nominations are open for the AANA’s lifetime achievement WARNER AWARD
AANA is seeking nominations for the Phil J Warner Award for Lifetime Achievement. The award will be a fitting finale to AANA’s “Window on 2010” Congress, on February 12th next year.
Established in 2008, the Award celebrates lifetime contribution and outstanding service to the Australian advertising, marketing and media industry. It is sponsored by Hourigan International , the global specialist search firm focused on the marketing and communication industry.
The award is named after AANA’s inaugural president Phil Warner, who was head of advertising at underwear manufacturer Berlei when he helped found AANA and led the Association from 1928-29.
"The recipient of the Warner Award will be someone whose contribution has moved our industry forward in a significant way,” said AANA CEO Scott McClellan. “To be considered for this award, a person must have provided distinguished service to the industry over a sustained period of time.”
This award is only bestowed if, in the opinion of the Australian Association of National Advertisers’ judging committee, there is a single worthy recipient.
"We’re focused on identifying talented executives in the marketing and communication industry who have the ability to transform business through leadership, creativity and innovation, so we are pleased to be part of the process to select this year’s recipient of the Warner Award,” said Anthony Hourigan, CEO of Hourigan International.
Nominations will be accepted until 11 December 2009.
